The Carrizo Gorge Scenic Railroad is the resurrection of a proposal from the late 1960s and early 70s to operate excursion trains along a very scenic portion of the former San Diego and Arizona Railroad through the Carrizo Gorge.

 

After the idea was shut down by former owner of the tracks Southern Pacific, the original movement has faded off the map. This website is dedicated to resurrecting that movement and advocating the potential for excursion trains in Carrizo Gorge.
