Consist Details

The hypothetical Carrizo Gorge Scenic Railroad excursion consist would comprise of five passenger cars, a generator car, and two locomotives. The five passenger cars include an open air platform observation, a coach, a diner, a dome-lounge, and a round end observation. The locomotives are positioned on either end of the train to minimize layover time at Jacumba and Dos Cabezas. All passenger cars except the diner would be open seating, as the diner would be reserved for passengers wanting to eat during the trip. The diner serves freshly made sandwiches, snacks and non-alcoholic drinks. Each car is named after a location within Carrizo Gorge.
